Console editions of Bedrock have more limited skin options. You can use the Character Creator to customize your appearance with various body parts, or purchase skin packs from the Marketplace.

Custom skin uploads are generally not supported on console versions due to platform restrictions. However, some workarounds exist through linking your Microsoft account.

Tip: If you own the game on both PC and console with the same Microsoft account, uploading a skin on PC will sync across all Bedrock platforms in some cases.

Important Notes

  • --Skins must be PNG format, 64x64 or 64x32 pixels. JPEG and other formats are not accepted.
  • --Skin changes take effect immediately on Java Edition but may take a few minutes on Bedrock.
  • --Other players will see your new skin the next time they load your character model. A relog may be needed on their end.
  • --Offensive or inappropriate skins violate the Minecraft EULA and can result in your account being banned.
  • --You can store multiple skins in the Launcher and switch between them without re-uploading.
